Building Pirate Cove – Day 1

We have decided to build a pirate town in brilliant seed we found called “seedsftw”. We are going to film it to show how we built the town and the boats and castles and mines on the islands around the town.

The recording tablet didn’t work very well at first so we missed the first few minutes but we did record lots of the first town buildings going up – come take a look, m’hearties πŸ˜€

We’ll post more but if you have any ideas about what we should build, leave a comment πŸ™‚

Back to work…

After a long time away from Minecraft and Survivalcraft I’ve started playing again, this time on my very own tablet! I have the best Massie ever!

In Survivalcraft I’ve been hunting lions and rhinos, but in Minecraft I’ve been hard at work building again and just since last night I’ve built a library, a lighthouse, a windmill, a house in a hill and a whole load of police vehicles like a boat, a car and a lorry! The great thing about Minecraft is daddy can play with me even though I have an iPad and he has an Android πŸ˜€

Diggy diggy hole!

After a few days break from Tattyland, Builder Boy took me into a different world and told me we would be mining instead of building as he wanted to look for diamonds. He took me into a cave he had dug and down a huge staircase to a series of tunnels. He’d been a busy bee!

YAY! I found diamonds!

I was too busy taking pictures to do much digging so I didn’t collect any of the diamonds or iron he found but when he noticed I wasn’t even digging out some coal I got the Paddington Bear Hard Stare!

Oi! Get working!

St Creepers – finishing the outside…

Today we decided to finish the hospital for poorly creepers so that any of them with soggy boom boxes could be fixed. Here are some pictures of what we built and tomorrow I’ll take some of the inside πŸ™‚

HeadBurro Antfarm

I only put Minecraft Pocket Edition on my tablet after I returned home from work and found number one child had fooled the Good Lady Antfarm into buying it for him on her tablet. I decided to buy it on mine so I could both help him but also ensure there was nothing in there that I needed to worry about. Luckily, for the missus and I at least, there was no online element to the game. Indeed, the only multiplayer aspect is by two or more players joining a game on a Wi-Fi network which meant that we, me and The Boy, could play together!

From the get-go he’s loved the creative mode more than the survival mode, I think it’s the fact that the survival game is all about long-term planning with delayed rewards whereas the creative game gives you all the fun stuff up front and allows…

Building a pirate ship

We took a break from St Creepers’ to build a police boat, pirate ship and house by the sea.

This is the police boat (I did this this)

This is the pirate ship (I did a lot of this but needed some help with the front bit).

This is the house by the sea (I didn’t do this and don’t really know what it’s for).

And this is the bridge we built across the sea to make Tattyland even bigger!
